Time to make a monkey.

So the first purchace of used equipment that wew bought in Southhaven, included this ventilation hood that we would later find out would not work in the scheme of things. But, we sold it on EBAY and here are pictures of Todd and I building a crate around this thing and shipping it off to Arkansas, which we lovingly refer to as, "Making a Monkey".

North African Carrot Soup Tomorrow

It will be the highlight of your day for sure. Tomorrow, a North African carrot and ginger bisque, with toasted black sesame seeds and harrisa. Harissa is a Tunisian condiment made from garlic, chilies, corriander, cumin, caraway, and olive oil. It is a little spicy, so ask for it with the harissa on the side if you can not handle the heat. Also, get ready Wealthy St. businesses, as I will be bringing some our way tomorrow.

Winkle Winkle Little Cheetah

Monday we had our "Big Meeting" at DTS Winkleman. Barry, from Bear Manor, Todd and I, Bob, from Byce, Jimmy, the consultant, Bryan and Lauren, from DTS Winkleman, Lefty, and Knuckles all attended this lunch meeting. I made lunch for everyone and also DTS Winklemans entire staff. On the menu: The Electric Cheetah own Saffron Tomato Bisque, grilled cheese sandwiches that had white cheddar, fresh tomatoes, and carmelized onions. Then I grilled black pepper, sea salt and rosemary into the bread. Also I made a little marinated cucumber, marinated red onion and toasted sesame seed salad. It was nice darn nice time. Details were discussed about the inside of the restaurant and I got excited because I am beginning to see it taking shape. Also tomorrow The Sparrows Cafe will have my in-famous Okinawan Karate Soup, Hi-Yah!
